What cookies and storage are
Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of data a website keeps in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work. Others follow you around the internet for advertising. We use only the first kind.

- What it does
- Keeps you signed in to Apex and the Studio after Lorvani invites you. Only invited guests ever get it. It holds a signed number that points to your customer record, nothing else, and scripts on the page cannot read it.

- 30 days, or until Lorvani ends your invite

- What it does
- Remember that you closed the 10% off sign-up window, or signed up, so it does not keep appearing. They hold no personal details, only a yes or a time.

- lv-studio-pin
- What it does
- Holds a checked Apex invite for a few minutes while the guest types their PIN. It holds a signed number, nothing else.

- 10 minutes, or until the PIN is accepted

- What it does
- Keeps you signed in to your account page after you sign in with Shopify. It holds the sign-in pass Shopify gave us, locked so only our server can open it. No password is ever involved.

- Up to 30 days (renewed every hour while you use the site), or until you sign out

- What it does
- A plain flag (no personal data) that says you signed in before, so when your sign-in pass ends we take you back through Shopify and sign you in again without asking for a new code. It is removed when you sign out.

- What it does
- Holds a one-time check while you move to Shopify to sign in and back, so nobody else can finish your sign-in.

That is the whole list. Cookies on lorvanilb.com appear only when you use a signed-in area: lv-studio and lv-studio-pin for invited Apex members, and lv-account, lv-account-hint and lv-account-flow when you sign in to your account.

What we do not use
- No analytics that use cookies or follow you around. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you from one visit to the next. It skips the checkout and visitors whose browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels from Meta, TikTok, Google or anyone else.
- No fonts, videos or maps loaded from other companies. Our fonts, photos and the map are served from our own site.

Services the site talks to
To show products and keep your bag, your browser talks to Shopify, which runs our store. These requests carry no cookies. When you place an order, it goes from our server to Shopify (see our privacy policy).
If you open our backup Shopify checkout or a customer account at shop.lorvanilb.com, Shopify sets its own cookies there, as explained in Shopify's cookie policy.
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok open those services, which have their own cookie rules. Nothing from them loads on our pages before you tap.

Your choices
The banner on your first visit lets you accept or refuse optional cookies. Today we use none, so both choices give you the same site. If we ever add optional tools that use cookies, such as advertising or tracking analytics, they will stay off until you turn them on.
You can change your choice any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also clear or block storage in your browser settings. Blocking it means your bag will not be remembered between visits. We also respect the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, optional cookies stay off.

Changes to this policy
If we add anything to the list above, we update this page and the date at the top first. Anything optional will ask for your consent before it runs.
